Activate your tag

Activating writes your profile link to the tag. Do it once per tag.

  1. Open Menu → Activate a Device.
  2. Tap Start Activation.
  3. Hold the tag to your phone:
    • iPhone: the top back edge, near the camera. Slide it slowly if nothing happens.
    • Android: the middle of the back. Make sure NFC is on in Settings.
  4. Wait for Boppr Tag Activated.

Test it: tap the tag to another phone. Your profile should open.

Your tags

Menu → My Activations lists every tag on your account.

Trouble?

  • NFC Unsupported: this phone can't write tags. Use another phone to activate. Any phone can still read it.
  • NFC Disabled (Android): turn on NFC in Settings.
  • Nothing happens: take the phone out of a thick or metal case and try again.
  • Changed your username? Activate your tags again. They still hold the old link.
